  • I have lost my password! How do I get back into my account?

    You can reset your password by selecting the 'login/register' tab, then click 'Forgot Password' and follow the instructions provided.

  • I have registered but I can't login!

    Have you typed your username and password correctly as they will be case sensitive? if so then please send us an e-mail to ensure you have not been banned or that an error has occurred, to contact us please by selecting 'contact' at the top of our website and follow the instructions provided.

  • Why can't I register?

    You can only have one account linked to your e-mail address, if you are unsure if you have already have registered you can check by going to the 'login/register' tab, then select forgot password and follow the instructions provided, if the e-mail address has been used then the password will automatically be sent to that e-mail address. If this did not help then please contact us so we can assist you further.

  • How do I change my profile settings?

    Once you have registered on gunsforsale, log in to your account, from the control panel on the left select the 'profile' tab, from there you can changer your personal profile settings and password.

  • How do I change my password?

    To change your password, log in to your account and from the control panel, on the left select the 'profile' tab, on the right is a section for you to change your password.

  • How do I delete my account?

    If you would like your account removed from our records, please contact us by selecting 'contact' at the top of our website and send us a request for your account to be removed.

  • How do I change or remove my phone/mobile number?

    You can edit your phone details by logging in to your account, and in the control panel on the left select the 'profile' tab, from here you can edit your phone details.

  • How do I buy a gun?

    Select the gun you want to purchase or would like more information about, from the gun detail page on the right select the 'call seller' tab for a contact number, if the seller has not put the correct number in or no number has been provided, you can send a message from the 'request details' tab below the call seller tab and send a message to arrange payment plans or to to ask a question.

  • How do I report a problem?

    To report a problem with our website please contact us by selecting 'contact' at the top of the screen and follow the instructions.

  • Can I use this website on my mobile or tablet?

    Yes, you can use most smart phones or tablets, you can also login to your account and upload guns and photos from your mobile devices. If you have any issues please contact us so we can fix any issues.

  • I have sold my gun, how do I remove it?

    To remove a gun from the website, log in to your account and from the control panel on the left select the 'lists' tab then select 'Active Guns', on the right (next to the price Colum) you will see a settings button for each gun, select this button on the gun you have sold, now select 'Mark Sold', if you select delete the gun it will be completely removed from all your lists, if you select Mark Sold then the gun will be sent to your Sold guns list to keep a record for later use.

  • What is your refund policy?

    Once your gun is active we do not offer any refunds.

  • Are my credit/debit card details safe?

    Security is one of our top priorities. We DO NOT hold or see any card payment information this is processed through SagePay or PayPal two of the largest payment providers in the industry.

  • Do I need an account to use Guns for sale?

    No, you can use the site for free, registration is also free.

  • How are payments made?

    When purchasing a Gun the payment is between you and the seller to arrange a suitable and safe transaction that suits you both.

  • I have created/updated a gun and do not see it, what should I do?

    From the control panel on the left select 'lists' and check all the lists available, if you still do not see it anywhere, then please contact us using the contact us page.

  • What does "POA" stand for?

    POA' stands for Price On Application, meaning you need to contact the seller to find out the sales price.
